Meeting scheduling problem

I'have installed Sugar 4.5 on a freebsd platform running Mysql 5.0.24, Apache 2.2.3 and PHP 5.1.6.

No problem during installation but when I want to schedule a meeting with invitees.

In the window, "Schedule Meeting", there is no information reagrding "Scheduling" panel and I can't invite people.

Hello!

I had problem like this. It is browser error. There is AJAX functionality and this functionality doesn't work with all types of Browsers.

Solution: Using Mozila browser or Internet Explorer

Hi,

We also use Firefox 2.0.0.1 and everything works OK. Have you tried resinstalling the system, say to another instance?

Yes I have reinstalled the Sugar system several times on different Linux system.

I'm also experiencing this. I think this happens since I upgraded to 4.5.1, but I can't say for sure. I keep searching in the forum about this. I have tried from firefox 2.0 in both linux and windows, together with seamonkey and galeon in linux, and IE, and I get a "Planifications" title below the meeting, but no html items to schedule or anything else. The server is running debian sarge, with apache2 and php5.

I'm still testing why the scheduler and invitations don't appear at the bottom. The production server with the problem is running debian sarge with an extra repository for php5 (php 5.2) and upper versions of mysql (4.1.15). However, in another host (not yet roughly tested) where I usually test before upgrading to production, running ubuntu edgy (php5.1 and mysql 5.0) this doesn't happen.

According to the requirements in http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/products...8699757637e188 I understand there should be no problem, but without further testing, I'm afraid that something at the OS level is what makes the difference.

I'm going to test in a debian etch environment a backup of production, to try to reproduce the problem.

I've found the problem. After some tests, the reason is the same that is causing a lot of troubles: lack of proxy management in sugar. If I access directly to the internal ip, it works ok.

Please, sugar team: when are you going to take care of proxied environments? It's some months ago me and others have posted about this.

I've found a (at least temporary) workaround that makes the schedule to be available again. I've got it by just commenting line 61 in includes/json_config.php. If someone kindly explains what are the inconveniences to override the global site_url parameter here, I'll be glad to test another solution accordingly with the requirements.

Of course, I'm still testing this solution, but when I before did some related change, I found no issue with it. I think that if in some days I don't post here, that will mean that everything is going fine.
