Memory Limit problem [Fatal error: Allowed memory size of ...]

Friends,

I know that this is a recurring theme, but I can´t solve.

This is a new installation, and after I insert the admin user and password to do the first login, I receive this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49 bytes) in /var/www/html/sugar/data/SugarBean.php on line 4922

Change the memory_limit to 256M or more but nothing occur...

System detais:

Operating System: CentOS 5.1, kernel 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5.
Sugar Suite version: 5.0.0c
Webserver: Apache 2.2.3
PHP version: 5.2.5, compiled with the command: ./configure --with-apxs2 --with-gettext --with-imap --with-mysql --with-mcrypt --with-iconv --enable-mbstring=all --enable-mbregex --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib --with-png-dir=/usr/lib --with-mime-magic --with-openssl --with-kerberos --with-imap-ssl --with-zlib
Mysql version: 5.0.22

I have exactly the same issue, Don't know how it happened, the system was working great, I recently updated to Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150) .

The error is displayed after trying to login, then if I press Back<, the session is working, then I can use the crm, but the error is annoying.

Any clues, will be appreciated

Does the error return if you visit the 'Home' tab?

No, only show the error message.

Perhaps the meomory limit is to big?

I'm running my 130 user installation with

memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (16MB)

without any problems.

What version are you running of Sugar and PHP?

I run Sugar 4.5.1e-4.5.1i and 5.0.0a-5.0.0c under php 5.2.1 coming along with xampp 1.6.,
no problems anywhere.

I run Sugar Version 5.0.0c in an Ubuntu Server 7.10 Environment on a MS Virtual PC 2007 too without any problems - even faster than the WIn2003 Server installation on a highend quad server!
