I understand that you have an exchange server but you maybe can use POP/SMTP or IMAP protocol. it's my case.
For MS Exchnage you can use the normal imap/smtp settings.
Some problems are possible, if you have a lot of public folders in your imap directory listing.
See my comments in this thread if ther are any problems in the setup path.

If you want to use accounts on that Exchange server, you will need to enable either POP3 or IMAP for those accounts.
