Migrate from 4.5.1 RC to 4.5.0h ?

Ick. Okay I signed up with this web host that was supposedly "SugarCRM Hosting" but not only have they offered no support on the numerious bugs I seem to be getting and no one else, but they installed the 4.5.1 RC version which is clearly stated as NOT FOR PRODUCTION

Anyway. So I have since installed the correct version (4.5.0h) on another server. However I have emails, contacts, leads, etc entered into this RC Version which I really don't want to have to reenter.

Anyone possibly can walk me thru migrating backwards?

I was planning on just looking at the DB Structure myself one table at a time and seeing if te fields matched up. But anyone who has any information would be appreciated

Hi,

If you export Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Notes via Sugar export function from the RC, you can probably reimport them through the Import Wizards without too much problem into the 'h' system.

With a tool like phpMyAdmin you can export your Emails and reimport them into your system. I am not sure here, whether the Email tables have changed though.

How long are your Emails kept on your Email server. We use IMAP and were able to resend the mails. Outbound Emails would have to be exported and imported as described above.


Depending on the amount of data you have in your system, it may be simpler to reenter the data.
