Migrating Data from Sugar 2.5.1d to 5.0.0e

I have an old legacy server runing Sugar 2.5.1d and need to migrate the data from the server to a new server running the latest version of Sugar CRM 5.0.0e. I am reluctant to use mysqldump and import the db into the new server. Does any one have a process to migrate the data to the new system? Worst case scenario is there a process to pull out the information in flat files (loosing all attachments)?

These files (in order) should get you from 2.5.1x to 4.5.1. From there, you can use this file to upgrade to the latest 5.0 patch:

The problem is I need to move the data to a new server, and can not upgrade the old server.

Then, first copy the sugarcrm install to the new server and then do the upgrades that Julian so kindly uploaded for you
