Migrating Sugard from v4.01 -> the latest version

Hi,

I did use the version 4.0.1. I did backup my database an before restoring on a different machine, I have installed the latest version from your website

Installation was OK. Then I restore the SQL file that I had
When I start SugarCRM, I saw a message saying that the database file used with the v 4.0.1 cannot be used with the version 4.2.1

- Do I need absolutely to use v 4.0.1 and then use a patch ? SugarSuite-Upgrade-4.0.1_to_4.2.0.zip (4.14 MB ZIP)
- Or is there a way to use the latest version (with a FULL installaition) with the SQL file used with the v 4.0,1

How to upgrade the database ??

Hey Mag....

Exact issue im having...How does one upgrade the Database.
databse is 3.5 but ive upgrade to 4.2 but cant read 3.5 database
Would be great to get some expertise on this..
