Default Migration of data from ACT Database to SugarCRM

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to migrate data from an ACT database to SugarCRM CE (MySQL)? I'm assuming an ACT export program is required to get the ACT database to a MS Access format. Then I assume I can export those tables and import them into a MySQL format (or perhaps use ODBC - MySQL). Then there's the fun of writing the mapping of data, making sure to keep any existing relationship. Just thinking out-loud. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks, Jeff

Did you find anything? We're having the same issue. We're thinking of exporting the ACT tables in the mssql database and convert them to mysql, then convert these to sugarcrm tables.

Yes, it's at least a two step process. I decide to use the ACT Exporter create by JT Technical to export the data to a CSV format.

Then I wrote a custom Import Module for SugarCRM to import and convert the data into SugarCRM 6.x. It you're interested in this process, feel free to contact me directly for a quote.
