Migration - Zoho to SugarCRM Help

Hi,

Currently migrating from Zoho to SugarCRM, but, I need help with the Importing of Notes - Here is my problem;

- I'm having problems with the Database Fields, are there any way at all to create your own fields? If so, could you please outline the correct procedures.
- The database will not allow duplicates of fields such as Note Subject
- Which Database fields should I use to assign a Unique team member user and member id?

I am curious, why did you choose to go from Zoho CRM to SugarCRM?

Actually, I was thinking going the otherway around.
