    Default Minor irritations with using Sugar 5

    I've just installed Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150) on a Linux box.

    So far I've had no problems setting everything up and creating users, contacts, e-mail, etc. There are a few minor irritating things I've come across from a user point of view I'm hoping you can help with. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.13 on WinXP SP2.

    When I go to the calendar tab, it always shows the day view by default. How can I change it to be Month view or shared view? This should be selectable in a setting somewhere.
    Every time I enter the e-mail module, the From, subject and date columns are "squashed" to the left. When I widen the columns out to fit my screen width better the columns widths are not remembered the next time I come back to the e-mail module. Is there any fix for this?

    Details of system:
    Apache version 2.2.8 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.5
    MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
    Architecture i686
    Operating system Linux

    Thanks

    hello cyberdude,

    you can change the calendar's default view from day to any u want except shared.

    open modules/calendar/index.php

    $_REQUEST['view'] = 'day';

    change this to any. i m not sure for shared view.
    Best Regards

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give that a try.

    Are you experiencing the same problem with the column widths not being remembered in the mail module?
