Missing Activities Tab

Hi

I'm currently working on a new Sugar 5.2.0 c installation running on OpenSuse 11.1

At the moment I'm basically importing data into the system.
I've made a few adjustments to some drop downs lists, and added a few custom fields to Contacts & Accounts - nothing major.

Today I wanted to import some notes, and was surprised to discover that my Activities tab has gone missing. It was there a few days ago because I had already investigated the issue of importing notes and linking them up to accounts & contacts.

I checked in Configure Tabs, but it isn't in the list of available tabs !

Can anyone shed some light on what I might have done plz ?

Hello,

Are you using Group Tabs? If so, you also want to take a look in the 'Configure Group Tabs'.
Is the activities tab missing for all users or just you? check under 'My Account' in the Edit view and scroll down to the 'Edit Tabs' area. Make sure the 'Activities' module is not under the 'Hidden' column.

Thanks for the rapid response.
I haven't configured Group tabs, but I wonder if that might set things right if I activate them and them disable them again.

Furthermore, the tab isn't in the hidden tabs column, or the display tabs column either for that matter.
As I mentioned, the module name doesn't appear at all in the configure tabs section.

Hi

I just activated the Group tabs option for my admin user and can now gain access to the notes screen.
I don't however have the option to import Notes ! Not really what I was hoping for.

I think I'm now going to apply plan B : reinstall SCE
Let's hope I can return to a stable/normal situation
