It's strange that when I connect to sugar in a web browser using http://host/sugarcrm/index.php instead of localhostm I get strange results. For example, I get LBL_LIST_MY_CALLS for the calls dashlet, the add dashlet box is empty, half of settings text is not present etc. The only way to use sugarcrm properly is to connect from the machine that hosts it using localhost. I can connect externally, but I get the same strange results.

Any ideas?
