Missing Panel

I added a panel to the CONTACT module and deployed it. However, it is not showing up on the edit screen BUT it is showing up in detail view.

I have gone back and redeployed it, still no luck. Any ideas?

I am not sure I understand the problem. Subpanels are only displayed on the DetailView by default.

Unless you've made customizations to the EditView to get it to display subpanels, your description of the situation seems like normal behavior.

Are you talking about subpanel or just panel you add into layouts through Studio?
If you add a panel on DetailView you also need to add this one on EditView.

It is not a subpanel. I added a panel to the orignal CONTACT module.

The other ones I added are showing up fine, it's just this one that is only showing up in detail view and not on my edit screen.

In studio, I can see it in BOTH edit and detail layout. Why will it not show when I try to add a contact??? I have also tried to remove the panel and then re-add it and deploy. Nothing seems to work.

Sometimes cache files will not be overwritten correctly. Try Admin -> Quick Repair. I hope this helps.

clear the cache in studio and try again. first open edit view in studio. then cleas cach studio files. folder called working. then save and deploy
