Missing records after importing data

Hi

I have imported some accounts data and after doing that List View does not show the previously existing account records . They did not were deleted (I can get them by searching them), but they does not appear in the list (only after searching them).
Any hint?

Try running a database repair. I wonder if the import might have corrupted something in the DB. You can also use your DB tool to check the records. Run a SQL select * from Accounts; see if it gives you all the data. Also, browse the tables and look for weird characters

My guess is something got corrupted int eh data import. Good luck finding it.

I had already tested that all records were there. Indeed, when I make a searching of one of the previously existing records, I find them and they are added to the list (not in order, but it is not the point). When I run any sql that should include the "hidden" records, they appear. But when getting into the list view, surprise, they are not there.

Of course I ran DB repair, but nothing changed.

By the way, some time ago, when I install my own SugarCRM instance (I think it was 3.0.x release), I had the same problem when imported my data from phprojekt, but I do not remember how I solved that (did I?).

I (finally) did something I should do at first: look into the database. I noticed that the new imported data had no value in the assigned_user_id field. The funny thing was that the hidden records were those that had a value in that field. Well, it does not matter, I proceeded to assign some value in that field and everything is right now.
