    Default Missing Scheduling Subpanel

I don't know when it went walkies .... we haven't edited any of the sugar source code .... just done a few custom fields.

But when I schedule an event like a meeting or a call, the scheduling subpanel that tells me if I have any diary conflicts .... well, it just ain't there.

I'm running open source 4.2 with all patches on a LAMP stack .... no other problems

    Any ideas?

OK .... approach this differently ....

Which files should I be looking to restore in order to get back to a default implementation?

    Any help gratefully rx'd

BUMP -Did this get resolved because...

Using v 5.2h, RHFedora 10. The Scheduling Sub-Panel for Calls has disappeared. But here's a funny thing, an invite was sent anyway and the contact to whom the call was related got the invite - for the date of 1970.

Have potentially found the answer to the 1970 date issue which popped in around version 4 but stumped about the scheduling subpanel.

We have checked allt he footers as per other post suggestions but nothing doing.

So if anyone can help, the CEO would be very grateful and might start making me coffee

Oh, jeez ... we're talking about a problem that's nearly two years old ... we've migrated to Mantis for bug & issue tracking since those days and don't even have the original resolution ... I'll ask the development team if any of them remember what we did ... jings ... we were young and naive once

Yes, we were a bit shocked to to see how far back this bug dated. It's been a week of snafus. We're going to add the i and j patches first thing in the morning to see if that kicks anything back into life. Last week it was missing convert lead buttons, which mysteriously went walkies and then came back now these two. Looking forward to the newly invigorated QA processes from the Sugar team. I'd happily wait months for new whizz-bang features for them to fix the bugs.

I see you've done Drupal integration. Ever thought about WordPress to SugarCRM? For example a plugin to link Sugar CRM Newsletter subscription lists to blog subscirption lists using tools like Subscribe2.....

Anyway thanks for the prompt reply, it is much appreciated.

Sorry to disappoint ... not done Drupal ...lots of Joomla>SOAP>Sugar work though.

The guys do have their eyes on Wordpress though ..

However, first we have to work out how to package a lot of Joomla/Sugar custom integrations into something that can be reused by other SugarCRM users.

    All ideas gratefully considered

All patches now applied and still no sign of scheduling subpanel for calls although working fine for meetings. While poking around the code we did at least make the scheduling emails 'legal' by adding custom text to include company registration details. This ought to be core, non code functionality really IMHO. Ditto the ability to style the landing pages for confirmation of unsubscribing to newsletters and accepting meetings.

I will close this thread and post a new Help and see what happens. Thanks for your help and I shall keep an eye out for any WP developments.

Old thread, but in case anyone else is having this issue:

Make sure that your edit view contains both a Start Date and a Duration field. If both of these fields are not present, there is not enough information for the scheduling subpanel to populate the chart, and it will not display.

    Hope this helps someone.
