I am very new to database work and have no skills in command line writing - i am just looking for a way using the admin tool within sugarcrm to recover a missing field. I have been adding and moving around various fields but the "Subject" field is not showing in the studio>Cases>Layout>Editview at all. However i can put it in the "detailed" and "list" views.

This causes a problem as when i list all cases the Subject field is just blank and doesn;t link to the detailed view of the case. Is there anyway i can either retrieve the "Subject" field in the edit view or reset my Editview Case fields back to the standard ones? Or even create a new field that will allow me to open the detailed view of the case from the list view?

I would really appreciate a simple solution!
