    Default Module Builder Help

    Hi Guys,

    I have just built and started configuring a CRM for our small company. We are using the commuinty edition 5.0d.....i am having problems with creating our own module. Now creating the module is not a issue. That seems to be ok. But when i deploy the package i cant see it. The tables are created in the DB, in studio the package is there...in module uploader its there too but i can see were the tabs are, were to access it to stop entering in data. I have a suspition that i am missing something but i dont know what.....

    Any help would be greatfully appricated )

    Hi, jonnywatson

    Make sure you checked the check box "Navigation Tab" while creating the module

    Can you see your custom module in Studio?
    If not, some steps was missing during creation.
    If you see it, check in Admin-> Configure Tabs if your custom module is in the Display Tabs column.
    If not, drag and drop then save.

    Something interesting i have found...

    If i view the HTML on the tabs page in hidden there IS an entry for my module.

    <li id='subslot16'>
    <span class='slotB'></span>
    </span>
    </li>
    <script>
    tabLabelToValue['|A0001_Current_Contracts'] = 'A0001_Current_Contracts';
    if(typeof(subtabModules['subslot16']) == 'undefined')subtabModules['subslot16'] = '|A0001_Current_Contracts';
    </script>

    But there is no name attched to this module...so have i missed something???

    Can you see an empty tab? Or can't you see that at all?
    What I'd like to understand is whether you have the tab but for some reason it's empty or you have nothing at all.
    You said you have nothing under Hidden Tabs, but you didn't specify if under Display Tabs you have your module's...
