    Default Module changes are not saved and deployed

    It seems I have some sort of system-wide "won't update and won't report why" issue.
    As per another thread, I've made config_override.php writable

    I'm trying to change the List layout & Basic Search for the Accounts module via Studio. Clicking "Save & Deploy" seems to update Studio's view of these, but not the actual view. There is no error or suggestion of a problem.

    Hi.
    Try to set all permission to cache folder. Then give the save and deploy

    Hi
    Option1: Enable developer mode. And give the save and deploy and check
    Option2: go to cache/modules/accounts/ delete all the files and the come back to studio. Then give again save and deploy and check.

    I have now done both of these and there is no improvement.
    There is a slight difference: now when I click "Save and Deploy", instead of doing nothing, it reloads the view I'm editing -- but with the old contents.

    I have now fixed my installation thus:

    sugarcrm.log had
    DeployedMetaDataImplementation: could not write new view
    def file custom/modules/Accounts/metadata/searchdefs.php

    so I made custom/ and everything underneath it world-writable.

    Sugar Developers, please get this message out of the log file and into the Studio interface. When Studio is unable to actually edit any of the modules, it should say so don't you think?
