Sorry if the subject made no sense.

I'm trying to recreate some functionality that an insane person once built into a version 4.0.1 install.

Starting from scratch with the new module builder seems like the best route, but I want to inquire about this before I hit a brick wall or something:

There are two custom peices, something like a ToDo List, and ToDo List Items.

A ToDo list (or more than one) can be attached to a Person/Contact, for instance.

Each ToDo List has many ToDo List Items.

On the Contact detail page, however, instead of showing a list view of related ToDo Lists, I just want to show all ToDo List Items, that belong to all of the ToDo Lists that are attached to that person.

Does that make sense at all?

The Admin would be creating predefined lists, but the users only need to be able to see the tasks, bypassing the fact that they belong to a given list.

Is this extremely hard to do with Sugar custom modules?

PHP Development pays my bills, so I know what I'm doing as far as development, but haven't been in the guts of Sugar very long.
