Module for Sugar in Java

Hello,

I'd like to make modules for sugar in Java. I have read somewhere that it was possible.

There are tutorials about it but only for PHP.

How do you make module in Java ? is it normal Web-application which displays in IFrame ?

How could I connect my "module" in Java with other modules ? e.g. that I could see informartion from module in Contact as subpanel.

I could make it with webservices but as I read tutorial ... I don't see any nice solution. It seems that I'd have to create module in PHP which connects with my module in java.

What is the "best practice" ?
