    Default Monitored Email Fails

    Bitrock SugarCRM 4.5.1e
    CentOS 5.0

    sugarcrm.log shows:

    Mon Jul 30 16:27:25 2007,886 [19236] FATAL SugarCRM - SCHEDULERS: could not get an IMAP connection resource for ID [ affdefde-2bd7-f29f-cac7-46ae6518105b ]. Skipping mailbox [ monitorRoger ].

    mailserver (courier-imap) log shows:

    Jul 30 22:27:05 mail imapd: LOGIN FAILED, user=roger, ip=[::ffff:192.168.1.9]

    This indicates that the password is not being sent properly. I have blown away all of the monitored accounts and recreated them. I have traced errors and fixed other things that were indicated (such as lack of PHP-IMAP, which was later installed). Unsure of why an IMAP error would show up when POP3 was specified, though.

    The settings test out okay, and match the user account, which can manually poll the inbox successfully.

    Any ideas or, preferrably, solutions?

    Thaniks.

    Tried the "Repair Inbound Email Accounts" option under "Admin", "Repair"???

    We often have similar issues after a version upgrade, that passwords get screwed up - this repair function reencrypts the passwords in the database.

    Thanks. Tried repairing the email before, didn't work. I just tried it again, didn't work. Still seems to be passing the wrong password.

    One thing I don't understand is how the monitored inbox is linked to the user.

    After creating a user "Roger" I ended up with "personal.Roger" as a monitored mailbox. However, in trying everything I could to get this to work, I ended up blowing those monitored mailboxes away. So, I created a new one, and now I have a new GROUP user by the name I created for the monitored mailbox.

    How can I create a monitored mailbox that links to the proper user?
