Default moved subpanel location not saved

    I have two questions:
    1) is there a way to set default order of subpanels in the various modules for all users? If so, how?
    2) if I move the subpanel to the desired location, it is not always saved - is there a trick to get it to save in the preferred space??

    Thanks in advance!

    HI Chad

There is no way through Studio to accomplish that task.
You need to customize the code for that.

    Create the file custom/Extension/modules/<ModuleName>/Ext/Layoutdefs/layoutdefs.ext.php
and add a code to modify the 'order' attribute for all subpanels under that module.

After editing all of them go to Admin -> Repair -> Rebuild Extension

    Kind regards

    Hi beuten

afaik you can only set the subpanel order before creating a user. Via the system settings function you can lock down your users changing the order.

If the subpanel locations aren't saving it is probably your not waiting for the layout to save correctly. I donÄt think this is a file issue
