    Exclamation MS Outlook Plugin, tasks do not sync

    I have just installed the 30-day trial Outlook plugin. I am able to synchronise contacts and emails, but if I try to do so with tasks or calendar items I receive a window titled Sugar Sync Progress which contains the sugar logo and a Cancel button. I have left this for 30 minutes, but there is no progress.

    Under the Sugar plugin options tasks tab I have the two check boxes un-checked and allow user to specify in the conflict selection box. I have tried various combinations of these settings, but I am still unable to synchronise tasks.

    It is very likely that my company will purchase Sugar Professional if the Outlook plugin works as seemlessly as the online demo. Can anyone help advise me what I may have set up incorrectly.

    I've the same window! I marked a few contacs for sync but the contacts are not shown in sugar. Email-Archive, Searching for a account or using "New Sugar Records" works fine!

    What can i do ???

    My problem was caused by a bug in the version of the Outlook plugin not handling me running SugarCRM on a different port. Specifically I was using port 81 which would not allow a connection. I was supplied a newer version of the Outlook plugin and this worked as expected.

    I believe we will be getting the Professional version here in the next month or so...we really need a replacement to our aging system soon!

    Ok, but our SugarCRM is running on Port 80. This shoul be no problem. Connection is running as well. Testing the connection works fine and archiving mails is going as well.

    Only probs with syncing!!!
