    Question MS Word Plugin - Need help formatting mail merge correctly

    I'm attempting a mail-merge using SugarCRM Enterprise 6.1 and the MS Word 2007 Plugin.

    I have a field that has a data type of "Currency". I merged them into a document template that I want to display the value with 2 decimal places.

    I entered 12.00 in the field in Sugar. When I complete the mail merge, the result that comes up is 12.000000

    Does anyone know where/how I can adjust this?? Pulling my hair out a bit here... Or if there is a comprehensive user guide, I'd love to know about it! Thanks!

    Default Re: MS Word Plugin - Need help formatting mail merge correctly

    In case anyone lands here looking for the same thing I did, here's what I found. Once you have inserted the merge fields using the plug-in, you just right-click the field and "Toggle field codes", then add the following merge codes to alter the way the data pulled from Sugar displays.

    Data Merge Codes for Dates & Numbers

    Field Codes = Results
    Plain = 2011-04-01
    \@ "d" = 1
    \@ "d" \*Ordinal = 1st
    \@ "MMMM, YYYY" = April, 2011

    e.g.,
    1st day of April, 2011

    Field Codes = Results
    Plain = 12.000000
    \*DollarText = twelve and 00/100
    \*DollarText \*Caps = Twelve And 00/100
    \*DollarText \*Upper = TWELVE AND 00/100
    \# $#,##0.00 = $ 12.00
