Default Mulitple databases in one SugarCRM.

    Hi,

My boss has 3 different small companies and he wants me to setup one SugarCRM to hold 3 different databases.

So I am thinking to have those company names (company1, company2, company3) listed on the menus replacing the default "Sales, Marketing, Support, etc" menus. Under each company sub-menus would be "Accounts, Contacts, Leads" and these set of sub-menus are not related among companies. For example: company1_Accounts, company2_Accounts,.....

I have already had the company names on the menus. Now I would like to duplicate the existing Accounts, Contacts, Leads modules and create 3 sets of them for each company. How do I do that?

    Please help...

    Thanks.

    hc.

Maybe you also could consider to create a new field on accounts with options: company 1, ..2, and 3.
Then you could make this field multiselect.

You also could add this field in your search panel.

This way you can filter the accounts by companies, keeping sugar standard behavior.
