multi client capability?

Hello!

had anybody used a single sugarcrm installation as multi-Client system?

My customer wants that their customers can use sugarcrm to handle some data. They have about 30 customers and now i don`t want to place 30 single sugarcrm instances to separate the data of the single clients.

Is there a solution to handle multi client capatility? I wrote about Zucker Hierarchy...Team OS (Both seam to be for older sugar versions) Problem is that all this make the system unbable to update because it changes the base.

Or would the only clean possibility be to place X single installations to the server? (Maybe via script)

It is not designed for this type of use.

Some folks will argue that you can circumvent some of the challenges by means of creative use of some features, but I would strongly recommend against doing so. You will eventually run into something that doesn't quite work or you cannot work around and you will be stuck at that point. It is best to do it right from the beginning.
