Multi-Level Sales and Leads etc

Hi everyone,

I've done a search for something like this without much result except some thread way back in 2004.

Does SugarCRM CE do multi-level sales and leads i.e. lower level users don't have access to the activity to the level above? I'd have felt sure this functionality would have been incorporated by now - just having some challenges in working out how it's done.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Martin,

Not sure if i totally understand the exact restrictions you are looking to place, but you can set restrictions using role security. Here, you can limit the modules a group of users has access to, or the types of activities they can perform within each module (view, edit, delete etc). You can read more about roles here.

As an admin, you also have the ability to personally remove access to a module on a user by user basis using the 'Remove admin tab' column for each individual user.

My Question : Can i use SugarCRM for a Reseller System for Suppliers for their Services , so Admin is the main Reseller and Users is sell for themselves but the question is ,:!

Admin can see all the users accounts
but what if we need sub reseller account how would that work ?

for example like this
Admin---> will see it all
Admin1 ---> with userA ,userB, userC …................(will only see userA ,userB, userC customers)

Admin2 ---> with userD, userE, userF.................... (will only see userD ,userE, userF customers)

for the Commissions
Admin gets 100% and sets that admin1 will get 70% for supplier1 and admin1 sets that userA will get 40% of the 70% and like that .....

This system just to arrange contracts for Suppliers not to sell any product so no stock etc. all commission are fixed per contract type and per supplier.

so by having the system like this we will be able to offer multi level reseller system
How do you think this would be possible ?
