Multi select custom field display!

I'm relatively new to Sugar and I'm trying to get started with the Studio and other Admin functions. We have Sugar Professional version in the office.
I created a new multi select field which looks all right in the edit and display field. However when I tried to upload a record, it doesn't display the values, just shows bullet points for the no. of selections I made. However when I export the data, it appears in the file.
I am not sure what I'm doing wrong and appreciate your help!!

Hi there,

Same problem in my system, Ubuntu Server 8.04 and Sugar CRM Version 6.1.1 (Build 5512) on MySQL 5.0.

The contact page show as many bullets as values are selected, but only shows some or any.

Any help will be appreciate as the only workaround we found is to manually reintroduce them based on a Contacts export, but due to the number of contacts is not feasible.
