    Default Multi tenant on SugarCE

    Hi there,

Is it possible to have multiple 'companies' without installing multiple Sugarcrm CE's? Thus can one have a www.xsw.com/x, www.xsw.com/y, www.xsw.com/z etc all sitting on a single server and one is not able to see the other ( x doesn't know of y)?

If so how is this possible is there a pdf or html that emplains the steps to follow?

    Thanks
    ec120

    Yes, it is possible.
You can configure as sugar instances you want.
Each sugar instance (www.xsw.com/x, www.xsw.com/y, www.xsw.com/z) will be linked to a specific database.
The version of sugar instances also may be differents, but all of them must be compatible to current installed php version.
Additionally, you have to configure a robust server in order to support several instances.

    Thank you for your reply.

Where could I find more information on this? Is there a website or document I could get to explain the process?

    Kind regards

You could figure a single Sugar Instance through the use of teams (securitysuite or something else) to partition the data into 'companies' but its simpler, quicker and probably more stable to install multiple sugar instances, each with there own db and subdomain/directory, on a single server.
