Multiple relations on activities

I'm trying to produce the following situation in SugarCRM:

We have Projects, to which 1-n Accounts are assigned. An activity in a project is mostly related to one of this accounts. Until now, I could not find a possibility to link an activity to a project as well as to a related Account.

The same is also valid for history entries and other entities: only one 'related to'-relation can be defined. What about artifacts related to multiple entities?

Any Ideas or solutions on how to achieve this?
Needless to say that I'm relatively new to sugar, so any hint on the subject is highly appreciated!

I'm not sure I understood your needs, let me see:

A Project can be related to more then one Account.
You want to relate a new Activity to a Project and after that choose one of its Accounts to relate to the just created Activity.
Is it right?

Yes, exactly. The goal is to get an activity which is related to a project and to one of its accounts.

What is the desired workflow?

Create a new Activity under an Account or under a Project?

If you want to create an Activity under an Account you can create a custom view.edit for all the Activity modules. This view will auto fill the Project related to that Account.
Remember you have to create a custom field relate to Project into all Activity modules.

If you want to create an Activity under a Project and after that select one of its Accounts you also need to create the view.edit into all Activity modules, but the implementation will not be pretty easy because you will need to create a custom controller for each Activity module and customCode for the project relate field.
