Multiple Sales Team with Different Cost Centers

We just installed SugarCRM Open Source and need advice on how to setup Sugar to handle multiple cost centers. I am using Open Source Version 5.0.0a (Build 3120). With offices in both the US and UK we have a different Sales forces and cost center. I would like to separate there oppurtunities and projects from ours. How have other comapnies set up Sugar CRM to do this? Does the application give us the ability to split the Sales group oppurtunities in reporting also? I appreciate the Input!

Hi,

To do this you need either to go the the Pro system which has the "Team" concept, or wait until the Team OS version has been upgraded to support 5.0.

If you can't wait and don't want to go the Pro, then I would recommend starting with the newest 4.5.1x version and implement Team OS for 4.5x. When available for 5.0 then migrate to 5.0.
