Multiple Select Fields

Hello,

I have created a custom multiple select field in the studio under the accounts module. I have 6 different options available in this field. When I go to create a new account, my custom field is there, and all of the choices. When I highlight items and fill the required fields and hit save to create account, the custom field then is blank. Whether I highlight one or multiple items from this field, nothing shows up. Ideas on what I am missing? Thanks.

Have u add ur custom field in both "edit view" and "detail view"..? Check it again and Click "Save & Publish" in both edit view and detail view of accont layout.

The field was present in both detail and edit views. I didn't change anything but hit save and publish in both views and it is working as it should now. I might have been trying to make it more difficult than it was. Thanks for the help.

Actually, I thought the problem was solved, but it's not. When you select only one value from the options it displays, but if you select multiple values nothing displays. Any other ideas?

The root of the problem was having ampersands(&) in my values. There is actaully a bug that will not let the multiple select box function properly if there are ampersands in any values. By replacing all of the &'s with "and" in both the database and display values, the field functions properly.

This sounds like a bug that should be filed. symbols in the text description should be transformations applied so that they work anywhere. for example if rendering in an web page replace & with &
