Multiple Select fields and Merging.

In Studio I set up some custom fields. One of them is a Multiple select called Category.

By setting Duplicate Merge to Enabled, I was able to get that field to show up in the screen which merges contacts together.

However instead of a multiple select, on the merge screen it appears as a dropdown, which means I can only add one of the values to the Merge (ctrl - click obviously doens't work). What I'd like to be able to do is to add all the Categories from the merged fields together, so either a multiple select box or a plain text box would allow me to do this.

Is this a bug? Should I submit it as one?

Is there a workaround?
