my email tables are out of control

I db for sugar 5.0.0c is growing rapidly.

i am sure taht it is because we have save - raw outbound mail - and campaign messages.

I will turn that off - but need to know if there will still be at least one copy of the campaign message - and the user's outgoing email is saved in the sent box - we are setup using IMAP - my testing has indicated that the sent mail is not hitting the imap sent folder??

after upgrade to 4.5 to 5.0 - the email tables doubled in size - must be some kind of error there.

is there a way to purge the emails without screwing up teh relationships - i really just want any duplicates removed - teh attahemtns folder in teh file structre is also very large from the cache/upload folder.

any help would be appreciate.

sent mail is not hitting the imap sent folder is an issue and I am looking to fix that issue. When you uograde from 4.5 to 5.0, there is an option if you want installer to run the upgrade SQL or you can run it manually by copying the SQL it would have generated for you. Did you ran that SQL ??

Angel - a sugar expert did the upgrade -so i would need to ask him what he did there.
