My Pipeline - Auto Refresh

I'm not sure why this isn't an option as it is annoying to salespeople,but there is no auto refresh of the My Pipeline dashlet on a user's homepage. A user may view their home page (and their My Pipeline), go and edit some opportunities, go back to their homepage and have to manually click the Refresh button for the My Pipeline dashlet. This is a pain for salespeople who are either not too skilled with computers to begin with and for salespeople that are in and out of the homepage/dashboard often. Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Nope, sorry. But as far as I know this was/is on the wishlist for 5.0. Let's hope for the best...

Why my Pipeline is auto refresh????

We're using Pro 4.5.1b. If go out of the site and back, the data will be refreshed. But if go from your homepage to opportunities, edit one's status, and go back to your homepage, the dashlet is not refreshed. It will be when you click the refresh option for the dashlet. A previous post, and some other forums hint that this is on the possible list for the next big release.

In the home page i have two dashlets showing Opportunities the first one is My top Opportunities which is refreshed automatically, and the second one is the My Opportunity chart.
If you are talking about the second one i changed it a little bit and i think is refreshed automatically when you enter the page without pushing the refresh button.

If the xml data for the dashlets is deleted it will be refreshed.
The xml data can be found in ./cache/xml/*.xml files.
So perhaps a logic hook for opportunities - after_safe can solve the problem by deleting all ./cache/xml/*.xml files.
The performance of the home-tab will go to hell, but... you cannnot have all sugar sweets.
