Is MySql 5.0.24a not supported by Sugar 4.2.1?

I have a private serevr:
PHP: 5.1.4
MySql: 5.0.24a
Apache: 2.0.46

I been trying to install SugarOS 4.5.0 and 4.5.1 with no success, no error all fine but the template is not loaded you can check http://www.vomcrm.com so I decided to install Sugar 4.2.1 till I find out what is going on with the new version, now in the installetion I get this message:

MySQL version 5.0.24a-standard is not supported. Only MySQL 4.0.x and higher is supported.

Is there any way to install it in this MySQL?

I'm really hurry, any comment will help.

It may not be a MySQL issue. I'm not quite sure why it happens. Do you have enough permissions to all of files and directories?
