Mysql error when editing contacts

Hello everyone,
im new to sugarcrm and trying to set it up for the first time.

I am running freebsd 6.0 with apache 2.1, php4.4 and mysql 4.1

I install sugar 4.2.1b and have got it running with the help of these forums--THANKS!!!

however when i go to edit contacts i already have created i get this error

this seemed to have happened after I installed the asterisk plugin.
I searched the forums and have already verified that my config.php file says db_type='mysql',
which seemed to fix everyone elses problems.

Any other ideas?

You may have to run the admin->repair->database.

sometimes its the obvious thats overlooked. I was trying to repair the database and it was showing all my errors--however i wasnt running the execute command to commit them.

Worked like a charm when i figured it out.

Hi,

I ran the Repair Database option and it showed a page full of stuff and also executed the SQL. Now I have a huge problem. The Admin user rights have been reset and even the admin login does not have any access to the Admin module!! Help me!!
