Mysql errorcode:1040,Too many connection

Hi All..

My Config is Sugarcrm OS 4.5.0h, apache 2.0, Mysql,5.0 & win 2003 R2 server..
I have 4 different CRM for different process...
when more than 10 users login to the server...........then the IE shows "Too many connection errorcode:1040"
I cannot fihure out what exactlly the problem.. before 3 days it was working fine..........
can anybody help me out to resolve this issue...

Yeah, you have too many connections open to the database.

you need to up the amount in your my.cnf file.

Did you restart Mysql?
You might also want to change the timeout. I think by default it's 14,400 which is about 8 hours I believe.
