MySql trouble installing Sugar

Hi I'm trying to install sugar CRM from ground up and I'm getting an "Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query" in Set-up Wizard Step 3.

The accounts with 1&1, I don't know if anyone else have had any problems.

Full Error msg:

Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query.
Database Admin user name and/or password is invalid (Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Which version are you trying to install?

Have you ocnfirmed that you are able to connect to MySQL using the same credential you supplied within the installation wizard?

Was the MySQL server still running immediately after the error occurred and were you able to connect to it?
