N00b question: What is Portal Information?

In the "Contact" tab, at the very bottom, there's a panel titled "Portal Information"

What is this? And how can I use this?

Hello,

this Portal information you are referring to is for use with the Sugar Portal (something you can purchase, or that comes with the ENT version). The ares in the Contacts module is where the Contact's portal username and password would be populated. This way, your customers could log into the portal and report or view any cases or bugs they might have, as well as view FAQs and knowledgebase items. If you are not using the Sugar portal, then you can just ignore this.
