    Smile Name and link to campaign not showing up in account

    Hopefully an easy question... Just started working with campaigns. Using them for now to identify accounts to contact. I have setup accounts on a target list and created a campaign. Under the campaign I can see the target list with the names of the accounts. But when I view the account, the name of the campaign is not listed under the Campaign subpanel. So if you view the account, you would have no idea that this account is a part of a campaign.

    Can someone please tell me what step I am missing?

    if you open another account (not used in target list) and relate it to this campaign (by account subpanel) this account will appear below your campaign?

    If not, it means that there is two diferent relationships, one is this from accounts to campains, and the other is this from campaings to accounts.

    So basically I believe it is two distinct relationships instead of one bidirectional.

    Accounts and contacts only show the link to the campaign they were created from. (I don't know why. I'd prefer to see this information in the detail data of the account/contact and have a list of ALL campaigns it is related to below in the campaigns subpanel but unfortunately this is not the case.)

    If I go into an account that is not already part of the target list and add it to a campaign from that direction, no it does not get added to the target list. So the directional link does not work that way.

    We do have an older version of SugarCRM (5.something) still up and running where this does work correctly. So at one time it worked and it then stopped working in later versions. Hopefully Sugar knows of this and will get it back up and running again.

    Perhaps not enough people have seen it or use the feature to let them know of the feature failure.

    Hi Mojq,

    Did you get a sensible answer to this? I cant be that those placed on a target list that is associated with a campaign would not have that campaign showing on their campaign sub panel.
    What did you come up with?
