I think this is a bad feature of version 6.0.
I mean we had all our modules organised in groups, but with this new version it is one big list. If you have a lot of modules you are all the time looking for the right module and sometimes if it is on the bottom of the list, it isn't on screen, so you're having troubles to get down to it. You actually need to use your arrow keys then.
Another disadvantage is that if your module is not in the top bar, you should first click it before you can get to the "create" or other links of the module. This increases loading time and the amount of clicks you have to make.
Sugar.... please bring us the grouped modules feature back!
Sad to say, but as a community version user this will keep us from upgrading to version 6 or rather we are downgrading to 5.5 as I type. I understand the new interface being part of the paid content, but removing functionality from the community version as part of an upgrade is silly, sorry.
That is sad to year, as all my clients love the grouped modules feature, as it is set up per department,
sales gets all their stuff under sales, marketing etc etc etc
This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Why not leave the feature there, yet have it disabled by default, which is the default behavior in SugarCRM v5x.
Our staff has become accustomed to the Group Tabs as well, and this will prevent us from upgrading to v6.
Please bring this feature back SugarCRM!
+1 from me
This is one of the best features
We all use Grouped Modules as we have several custom modules assigned to deferent parts of the company, now its just a mess
Please reimplement Grouped Modules
