i want to use my existing application database. that means i didn't use the sugarCRM database inspite of that i will use my existing database can this be possible if yes how can i interact with my dB

actually i have an existing crm developed in rubey on rails and now i want to switch to sugar but my thing is that i want to use userinterface of sugar whereas database remain same as in the rubey on rails application
