Need to delete files from database

Hi,

On one of my crms the allocated space ran out as there was an issue with the email attachments. I need to delete some files from the database so that they are permanently deleted and thus freeing up some space.

I removed loads of binary files in httpdocs/cache/uploads but the disk space has remained the same. How do i do this?

Perhaps your host provider just takes time to recalculate disk space.
