Need help creating a new quote template

Hi,

I am a newbie to SugarCRM. I have a working setup of Sugar 5.5.1 RC (build 1141) on Windows.
I am trying to create a customized quote. I have followed the instructions in this wiki article

but I can’t make it work. I am still tryng to add a new template that is a copy of an existing one. When I try to print it as PDF, I always get this error message:

“Tcpdf class for this module and action has not been implemented.”

Is this article still current? Using TCPDF seems to be the old way of doing it and sugarpdf looks like the proper way. How do I create a new layout for sugarpdf?

Can someone help me with this? Is there a specific tutorial/manual I should start reading?

If you are looking to build on something stable you should not use an RC release ... this is a Release Candidate and will still be relatively untested.

You should deploy either 5.5.0 or 5.2.0(j)

Thank you for your advice. This version was recommended to us by Sugar support. I will try to avoid it in the future.
