New Database

Hi,

I need some help please, fairly new to sugar.

I have a database which we have been using for 3-4 months however I now have to create a clean database on the same install of Sugar.

Sugar is installed on Linux with MySQL.

I would really appreciate some help with this one.

HI!

You can do it
Just change config.php file
value 'installer_locked' => true,
to
'installer_locked' => false,

after that open install.php file and install your sugarcrm again.

but please do backup of existing database and php code

Thanks for the advice, if I use this option to change the database file that I use is there any way of using both of the databases at the same time i.e. the user switching between to databases or can I only use one database at a time with Sugar.

Hi!

You will be able to use only one database.
For using both databases you have to develop custom code.
