Default New Field not showing up in module

I created and added a new field to the tasks module (a duration field) saved the layout and then clicked on save & publish but the field is not showing up when I go to add a new task. Any idea why it is not showing up?

    Thanks in advance,
    Aaron

Are you using 4.5.1b? I think this is a bug that has been discussed in several threads.

Cool. I don't think we will take 4.5.1c. We are happy at 4.5.1b and I have not added any custom dropdowns....yet
