Hi I recently installed SugarCRM on a linux box, using the stack insallers to install the full stack of PHP MySQL etc. This was done succesfully no problems, and the site is now up and running. I now need to migrate all our data from the existing Sugar implementation hosted on another site. Need to do this quickly and out web hosting compnay are not really helping. I can migrate most of the data using the export and import functions. However, crucially there appears no way to import the old users (to allow call history and user assignement etc to be transferred to the new system) I can seee the user ids on the user export files, so what I am looking to do is gain access to the new SugarCRM mysql db, but how so I connect to it? When I tried to connect initially, my linux system told me there was no MySQL DB installed (claerly not trus as the new site was up and running on the local system) In order to be able to connect to the console I installed Mysql daemon. This now works and I can connect to the monitor, however a query of all dbs on the system from the monitior still does not show the Sugar DB? So can someone tell me how I am supposed to connect to it? Please help I am so close to getting this transferred now!!
