New module doesn't show up in tabs

I've created a new module and deployed it.

It shows up in studio but I don't see it in tabs or any of the tabs utilities in developer.

Did I miss a step?

you can show this module link in tabs using 'configure tab' link from admin panel.
if still not showing increase the number of showing tabs on home page using Admin panel.

I can add the module as a dashlet to my home page but I still can't see it as a tab.
