New module list view delete problem

I have created a couple of new modules and installed them... all OK.

But after I have added a few records to the new module, If I go to the module list view, tick the boxes to the left of the records in the list and hit the delete button between the select and export buttons to delete either a single or multiple records..... the records do not delete.

If I go to the detail view of each record and do the delete it works.

Also the delete works in all the original modules.

Any thoughts.

The two modules were created in module builder as issue types with no modifications to the template except for adding relationships to documents, projects, activities, contacts and the other new module. I then installed this and have used studio to do add extensive new fields and customisation. I tried to do all the work in module builder but always got all sorts of errors on deployment and gave up. So I tried the build it simple and then modify in studio trick and it has all worked apart from this issue.
