New Module Subpanels link not showing correctly (CE 5.0.0c)

Sugar Community Edition - Version 5.0.0c


Created a new module with relationships ... created and did any customizations using Module Builder. After loading the new module I did a repair and rebuild n order to get the Roles Management section to see the new module.

PROBLEM:
The link to the subpanels in Detail View in Accounts just above the subpanels shows the new link as:

Activities | History | Contacts | Opportunities | Leads | Member Organizations | LBL_PRSNL_PERSONAL_SUBPANEL_TITLE | Projects

As you can see the link should be 'Personal' instead of LBL_PRSNL_PERSONAL_SUBPANEL_TITLE

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions ...

have you defined this label " LBL_PRSNL_PERSONAL_SUBPANEL_TITLE " in your module language file ?

Thanks for getting back with me ... I really appreciate the help ... but the issue is still there ... here is what I did.

I went to the .../modules/newmodule/language/en_us.lang.php file and a reference to the label was NOT listed. So I included/inserted the label reference ... I then went to Studio Builder and was able to edit the file whereas before I was not able to edit the file from Studio Builder.

I then repaired the database ... logged out ... cleared the browser cache and then logged back in.

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem ... did I correct the appropriate file?

Just to be clear ... in 'MY ACCOUNT' under 'Layout Options' when 'Subpanel Links' is checked the Link associated with the newmodule is showing up as 'LBL_PRSNL_PERSONAL_SUBPANEL_TITLE' instead of 'Personal' (which is the newmodule name.)

I still need help ... any other suggestions? Is this a bug that should be reported?

I am brand new to Sugar so any help will be appreciated

My apologies ... I wasn't clear in my previous email ... I had already completed a 'Quick Repair and Rebuild' to clear the language cache. I went ahead and did it again but the problem still exists. Any other suggestions?

Again any help will be appreciated ... please ... this is one that I can't quite get.

Heta ... thank you very much for your assistance ... I was able to correct the problem but I am not sure if what I did will pose a problem for the future ... please advise.

In my earlier post I stated that I changed the 'en_us.lang.php' file in ... modules/newmodule/language ... that was NOT correct.

Where I changed the file is in .../custom/modules/newmodule/language/

After your last email ... I changed the language file in .../custom/modules/accounts/language and added the label reference and all worked great! So, I proceeded to add language folders/files to all the modules that had relationships with the new module ... Opportunities/Projects/Calls/Meetings/etc ... in their respective .../custom/modules/folders.

So here is my question ... should I have added the language folders/files to .../custom/modules/etc .... or should have simply added the file reference to the appropriate language file in .../modules/etc?

Since I am new to the software, I don't know which way will preserve the integrity of the new module built in Module Builder and allow for the new module to be removed if needed or changed if necessary.

Heta, if you have insight I will appreciate your thoughts ... or anyone else who would like to comment would be helpful.
